Susanne Sulby

Profoundly affected by the 24-hour coverage of the conflict in Serbo-Croatia, Susanne felt compelled to bring attention to the plight of women during this horrific “Ethnic Cleansing,” and other brutal wars throughout our history.

A mother of two young children, she was inspired to do something to combat the sense of powerlessness of a suburban housnger and frustration led her to create Sanctuary. The Play.  Susanne created her signature talk, "Finding our Sanctuary: Taking Peace Into Action,"  to illustrate how taking even the smallest steps can have an impact on our lives and for those less fortunate on the planet.
